Although they are easy to put together, the fit and finish is very professional, it will look like a custom carpenter has been to your home. In order to figure out how much material to order, please e-mail or fax us a drawing with exact dimensions so that we can spec. the job for you. We need to know where the doors are and they?€™re height as well as windows and any other opening or corners in the room or the wall which you would like to accent. Please be aware that we sell only whole lengths and that the base board should be removed before you apply any accent wall.
Wainscoting : Bead Board
Bead Board, a trend that’s on the way back. Very easy to install using only three components: Cap trim, board trim (Bead-222) and any baseboard that you like.
We recommend a height of 38″, if you prefer, you can go as height as 45″. To get to 45″, you need to install a spacer of the desired additional height and the same thickness of the bead board (11/32″) on the wall at floor level. The spacer is required so that the baseboard will not sit on an angle when installed. The stiles are precut at 40″ for ease of handling and to reduce UPS shipping charges. If you prefer to have you bead board less than 40″ high, simply cut off what you don’t use.
